Brief 

To create new Premier league standard training headquarters for professional football club including specialist indoor and outdoor floodlit surfaces both natural grass and artificial, together with changing rooms, medical centre with rehabilitation/ treatment rooms and gymnasium, media room, dining and executive management offices

Solution 

As this was to be a state of the art facility, it was important for us to understand how each part of the training regime worked and how it could be improved through the layout and design of the facilities. Working closely with the client, we put together a detailed project brief which interpreted the ambitions of the club to achieve first class facilities for all players and staff from schoolboy level up to the first team squad. . The training facility was built within the grounds of a Grade II listed building which is to be converted into a luxury hotel.
