Brief

An existing 1930’s detached suburban house. Our brief was to remodel the existing layout and extend the property to create a large and open plan living space together with new master bedroom areas kitchen, utility and garage.

Solution

The proposal involved major structural alterations to combine new kitchen, lounge and dining room areas into one large unexpected open plan area to the rear of the house with large glazed walls and folding doors which overlooked and opened into the garden. This achieved a bright and airy flexible space which suited the owners spatial requirements and their contemporary / modern tastes in interior fittings.
