Solution 

Following detailed site analysis the proposed restaurant was orientated to maximise views across the landscaped park to the rear.  To enhance this opportunity a new mono pitched roof and high level glazing was added above the existing building shell to afford the restaurant a naturally lit environment with an open aspect to the park.
 In response to clients request for a visible working kitchen area a large tapering kiln style chimney was added in the centre of the building with all tables radiating out both internally and externally to enjoy the drama of cooking in the centre of the restaurant.
